The first release as a standalone wine from this vineyard- first planted in 2011 at a density of just under 7000 vines / hectare and including a mix of clones including 777, Q390-02, Pommard, Able, 115 and MV6.

5% whole-bunch with 35% new oak used. A deeper expression than the ‘Original Black’. Leans into dark fruits with cherry, plum. Wonderful density backed with a volume of spice and savoury detail. The palate has a delicate core with a flow of fruits. Fine tannin stand tall in what is a highly impressive first release! - Cobaw Ridgw
