Rafling is one of Freddy Cossard's out of Burgundy journeys, here with riesling that is sourced from an excellent site in Alsace, and all of it skin fermented. A rare bird, and a departure from Cossard's more 'traditional' winemaking, but he does love to experiment now and then and we reap the benefits. Full textural appeal here, lots of powdery tannin, dried and fresh citrus, woody spices, clove, curry powder going on. Exotic, enticing and down right awesome.
