It is made from the native Piedmontese variety pelaverga; many years ago Olek’s relatives planted four rows of these vines in the Roncagliette vineyard, one of the finest cru of Barbaresco! In this wine 60% of the pelaverga comes from here and 40% from younger vines in Altavilla.
