Chinati Vergano Chinato Vermouth

If you're into vermouth and haven't tried Vergano, then you've missed out until now. These are some of the world's finest and most interesting, born from Mauro Vergano's past as a chemist specialising in flavours and aromas, realised in these stunning vermouths via pure wine and an array of botanicals. 

Chinato is a traditional aromatised wine of Piedmont, elevated here by Vergano's mix of unique botanical inputs and the use of younger wine from Barbaresco. Bark from the quinine tree is the major botanical used, joined by cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, coriander, bay leaf, ginseng and rhubarb, all conspiring to elevate perfume and depth of flavour. Simply put, this is beautiful and memorable.
