This is pinot noir from Tony Bornard, son of the foxy-man himself Phillipe Bornard.
This is more serious pinot than we have seen from him before, but still has hallmark Arbois-Pupillin (Vines are planted right next to the Pupillin sign) characteristics that we all love. Of course there is clean, brisk raspberry and acid, but it is woven through on an undercurrent of savoury spice that provokes contemplation. Worth watching out for.
