Shiraz and grenache, fermented in an old, concrete vat. Heritage alludes to the old school, good school of Swan Valley winemakers and their quarry.
Ripe fruited, plush and lush but retains freshness, a bite of crisp red cherry in a slosh of warm, forest berries. Seasoning of clove, faint eucalyptus, choc mint, but all so judiciously done. I love this fuller figured expression, usually one the natural wine idiom doesn’t play into, or well, but here nailing the brief of a soft, generous red, with character. - The Wine Front
