Well.... we're a bottle shop AND a small natural wine bar that focuses on an expertly curated, intentionally small drinks/wine by the glass list. Our very cool (she's a former touring musician afterall) and super experienced venue manager, Keita Tarlinton*, ex-Lucinda's in Hobart, creates the list daily so that everyone has a chance to try the rare, new and different offerings that come through our doors.
If you're not sure what you're interested in drinking or where to even start, we're always around to help, just wave your hands like you're drowning...
Another heaps cool thing is that you're able to use the WHOLE ENTIRE bottle-shop as your by the bottle list. This means you can choose from more than 300 bottles and only pay $25 for corkage to sit back and enjoy! Psssst this doesn't exist anywhere else in Sydney so we suggest making the most of it... Bonza!
Oh yeah and if that weren't enough, we have some seriously great food on offer from our head chef, Zac Goddard (ex-Summertown Aristologist). It's designed around small plates and uses the freshest, seasonal produce we can get our mitts on, so there's a good chance you won't see the same menu twice (unless of course if you've claimed us and we see you every week xoxo).
Word to the wise, it's a small space and we sometimes (lots of times) fill up super quick. So! If you're dead-set on getting in on a particular day and time then you best get to booking ahead....

*Keita comes to P&V by way of the Blue Mountains and Hobart (where she learned what it actually meant to be freezing). She counts herself as "a scrappy kid" who has worked in hospitality for the better part of this young century. Keita was also touring musician for several years and her interest in wine, and drinking in general, was always there, simmering away in the background, but it wasn't until working at Hobart's Lucinda was she really been able to delve deeper and pursue the passion. Now settled here with us at the helm of Paddo, she's been unleashing that passion and knowledge.
