Distilled from the heart of the dasylirion plant (commonly known as Desert Spoon or, in Spanish, Sotol) and is product in a similar manor as mezcal. The Sotol is picked at 12-15 years and roasted in shallow pits before being hand milled and distilled in copper pots. Sotol Ono is smooth and earthy with citrus and notes of minarality with a long sweet fruit finish. Perfect sipping here.
Sotol liquor is known as the state spirit of Chihuahua.
