Archie Rose Trials & Exceptions Smoked Heritage Rye Malt Whisky

Archie Rose are one of the very few distilleries who are smoking rye and as always our little battlers are taking things a step further with their commitment to championing the use of Heritage grains and smoking the whisky with Stringybark timber.

There are notes. of caramel, cinnamon, oak, spice, green figs, leather and butter menthol but for us the most unquietly special flavour is the distinctly Australian campfire smokieness. It conjures up those cold night when the bonfire was lit and it smells as only an Australian fire can smell and a sense of home envelopes you.
