Born in Friuli the Ninimo family have been distilling since 1897, each generation refining the art of distilling grappa and amaro. Picolit, an indigenous Friulian grape used to make some of their best grappa as well as the base for the Amaro Quintessentia, is continsualy distilled in copper stills and infused with alpine herbs and tangerines before being aged in Nevers, Limousin and old Sherry wood. A perfect aperitif over ice or chilled from the fridge with a wedge of orange.
