This Mexcal comes from Tlacolula which is in the Valles Centrales region (widely known for this Mezcal produciton). The Espadin used is grown between 5,500-5,900 feet elevation in a mountain canyon, the Espadin is grown wildamong Tepeztate, Tobala, and Coyote agave
Tropical notes of stone fruit and citrus are ripe on the nose which carries on to the pallet with sweet roasted agave, fresh citrus and lemon oil with lick of white pepper and spicy herbaceousness. Great length here, saddle up go on the journey.
