Suau Blanc 2022

Organic/biodynamic Bordeaux in a Burgundy bottle with a hip label. Well, I never. This will get some plaid blazers with leather elbow patches in a knot. 

It is 85% sauvignon blanc and 15% semillon. Keenly priced too! It’s grassy and citrusy with floral lift and some green bean elements, tart and tangy overall with a palate-cleansing lick of saline minerality and chalkiness to close. Lots of perfume, lots of get up and go. Bright, flavoursome, distinctly of the varieties blended and generally just a good time to be had with ease of drinking, though perhaps a little more going on than most in this elementary zone.
