Matassa Tattouine Rouge 2023

Made by the cult figure of Tom Lubbe who moved into the area of Coteaux du Fenouillèdes in 2001 and immediately took over a run down old vineyard. The vineyard is now biodynamic and flourishing.

90% grenache gris with remainder grenache noir foot stomped and aged in big old oak barrels. Lightly perfumed and elegant with scents of freshly cut strawberries, hints of dried herbs and pepper tones. Full on flavour with exciting acid line and gentle tannins. Out of this world!
