Konpira Maru Over and Over 2023

Konpira Maru seem to have an unnerving ability to over deliver with their wines. This is a finely paced pinot noir of slurpy texture, bright, crisp red berry fruitiness, sweet spice, elements of cola and dried herbs, all finely balanced, all fresh and energetic. It slips over the palate with ease and silkiness, finishing with more of the herbal/spice detail of before. King Valley pinot noir as a point of difference. Delicious.
