Estancia Raicilla Pechuga
Regular price $150
Raicilla is made in Jalisco state (like Tequila) however it differs from tequila as it is uses two varieties of agave, lechuguilla and pata de mula, to be made leading it to be sweeter and fruitier than most tequilas and mezcals. To the best our of knowledge this is the first Pechuga Raicilla ever to be made. Wow.
Australian owned and run this Mexican made Raicilla uses Agave grown on volcanic soil in Sierra Madre Occidental and is cooked with Pechuga during it's third distillation. Floral and herbaceous with a slight hint of cooked pineapple, there is that familiar gamey/bbq smokey notes common to Pechuga mezcals.
