Liquid gold in a bottle. You literally couldn't find a more pure example of the humble variety of savagnin. The young vines are just below the Abbey and are situated on the infamous slopes of Chateau Chalon. You can really feel the saline minerality coming from the limestone soils giving this wine effortless tension matched with green apple and talc characters.
