Sangiovese from some of Pacina's younger plantings is used to make this bright, concentrated expression of the variety. This wine sees no oak. Instead, following ferment, it spends around two years in elevage in a mixture of concrete and stainless steel tanks. During this time it undergoes a secondary ferment on skins from the following harvest, resulting in additional layers of structure and complexity.
