Well, sure, it’s another wine which comes up with some fizz in the bottle, but it kind of drinks like a plush, savoury red, so here you go. It felt right to show you this wine, a feat with what can often be a mediocre grape variety but here giving you a lusty, dark fruited, brown spice-laden drink with stacks of that meaty, gamey character the variety is known for, executed so well. It’s for drinking not too cold, to be honest, but at a temperature coming up to room temp. Unconventional, and excellent. Go Australian Lambrusco!
