Wataribune is an ancient strain of rice and is a parent variety of Yamada Nishiki. The rice for this sake is sourced from local Shiga growers. It is aromatic, layered and full bodied with a fresh acidic profile.
Storage: Store Sake in a cool dark place, trying to avoid direct sunlight.
Handling: Once opened the Uehara Furosen Wataribune will last well for at least 6 - 8 weeks, ideally in a refrigerator.
