As typical of Didier's chenin blanc, there's a touch of extra fruitiness here, preserved lemon, ripe apple, but in the mix, also as always, plenty of river pebble and briny minerality counter balancing the sort of richer characters on hand. It's a very character filled white wine from a very character filled winemaker - unique, memorable, delicious.
