5 Sentidos Clay Pot Mexicano by Tio Pedro
Tio Pedro follows a true ancestral process of producing mezcal. Using Agave Rhodacantha which has been matured for 10-15 years before harvesting, Tio Pedro and his team roast the agave in large underground ovens before mashing by hand and placing in large open pine vats to ferment. This mezcal is double distilled in clay pot stills. Strong notes of roasted agave, figs, sweet potato, earthy vegetal notes and a nice citrus zest.
