Old clone, taken from grandpa’s vineyard in Tuscany, is the story.

Chewy, brooding, cola and char, ripe plums, mulberry, blueberry and smoky paprika spice. It’s a sloshy texture with a few ribs of chalky tannin, long lived in flavour, gently spicy and oyster saucy to finish. Nice feel to this, easy to drink, a more robust rendering of the variety, but well balanced and full of charm. - The Wine Front
