A field blend of trebbiano and pinot blanc. Two days on skins. Ferment in old oak. Lees for 18 months. Topping up is occasional, intentionally.

This is just so damn good. Oxidative saline notes with Real Lemonade, green almond, hazy green apple juice, soft texture, a little chalkiness and a beautiful, refreshing, lingering, saline finish. Salty, textural white ahoy. Unreal. It nails the brief, delivers huge interest, vibrant fruit, lots of character and shifts the zeitgeist of Yarra wines to somewhere else.
