Alessandro Stefani Supera Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

In the mode of classic lighter, finer Yarra Cabernet but with, curiously, and apt for the family history, a bit of an Italianate bent in Mediterranean herbal inflection and a riff of fine, silty tannins. Cassis and lavender perfume, similar flavours, if you get the drift, with juicy mulberry, graphite minerality and that herbal lilt lending complexity. It's elegant and sleek but very gulpable too. A beautiful, fine wine.
