Alessandro Tofanari & Simona Orsini Fallanze 2022

Husband and wife team Alessandro and Simona have been producing wines for close to two decades in Poggibonsi, southern Tuscany. Their focus is minimal intervention wines using indigenous grapes and ancient wine making techniques.

Fallanze is a blend of trebbiano and vernaccia with the former seeing one month of skin maceration and the later only three days. Savoury notes dominate with spiced stone fruit the star thanks to the trebbiano. These wines are so moreish.
