Alessandro Tofanari & Simona Orsini RossoFresco 2022

Husband and wife team Alessandro and Simona have been producing wines for close to two decades but this is the first time we are lucky enough to have their wines on our shore. 

The Rossofresco is summertime Tuscan wine if there ever was such a thing. A blend of sangiovese, trebbiano, colorino, canaiolo and a couple of other super old grapes that nobody can identify.....but, I digress. Big time concentration of red fruit that has an underlying savouriness to it. All of this going on but somehow, this wine still has an element of freshness to it. I dare say it could could even take a chill if the weather/occasion called for it. Do it!
