Red and black berries, a bit of toast, glazed bread crust, pomegranate grip and sage—bitter herb, a hint of Amaretti hovering above it all or tamari almonds. It’s has an Italianesque thang about it, palate is a bit more medicinal and loose, with sandy tannins and warming of alcohol. Nice, easy sipping red. - The Wine Front
