A bit going on here in as much as that it is a blend of grenache and mataro, it is fermented to pop fruit up in a carbonic maceration, there’s some rosé juice in the mix and the wine hits tanks and old oak for maturation. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
It’s a bright and fruity number with sloshy, soupy texture and a crisp-ish finish. Scents and flavours of rose hip tea, cranberry drink, wild raspberry, some cola and strawberries and cream. Fun. All the joy of loose knit texture with just enough balloon skin texture to lend a faint bit of shape and hence freshness. Good times ahoy, in a simple, pleasing, uncomplicated frame. Fruit tastes goooooood. - The Wine Front
