Anne et Jean-Francois Ganevat Le Courage Riesling 2021

Based in the village of Rotalier in Jura’s south, ‘Fanfan’ Ganevat is one of Jura’s most charismatic winemakers. Fanfan comes from a long line of vignerons that dates back to the mid 17^th century, though fascinatingly the family had supplemented grape growing with dairy endeavours until the mid-1970s.

This cuvve is Vin de France blanc. 100% Riesling from Granite soils in Alsace (Obernai)  Vinification is natural – fermentation with indigenous yeasts, matured on its lees in demi-muid barrels for 3 years, zero sulphur, and neither filtered nor fined. - Andrew Guard, importer
