Tequila ArteNOM Selección de 1414 Reposado comes from Arandas in Los Altos, at the elevation of 2000m above sea level, where Feliciano and Sergio Vivanco has been cultivating highland agave since Mexico’s tumultuous post-revolutionary period of 1919–1929. The family now holds 2,000 acres of estate-grown agave producing a rich, well-balanced spirit. As growers, they stick to what they do best, and focus on producing the best agave with a brix level of 27-28 prior to being distilled by the globally acclaimed, Sergio Vivanco.
The palate is velvety and expressive, with flavours of salted vanilla cookies and warming allspice. A gentle chile heat flickers across the mid-palate, adding depth without overpowering. The oak influence is subtle, allowing the agave’s natural sweetness and spice to shine. - Agave Lux, importer
