Light and fine, succulent, red fruited, amaro and touches of wild botanicals, some tart cherry, crunchy rose hip tea notes, a dusting of terracotta or clay and some hazelnut elements. A pleasing rusticity, almost an old school pinot noir feel, but then the freshness blasts out of the finish, blood orange tang and more gentle, pleasing nuttiness.
