Succulent, fine grain lace of tannins weaving through dark cherry, light cola, garam masala spice, liquorice, some lifted fennel and saltbush characters. A vein of saline minerality, some crushed granite too. Drinkability is through the roof, the finesse noted, the gentle savouriness is marked. It’s a beautiful, balanced albeit trim wine of great energy and a gentle wild streak of the best kind. - The Wine Front
