Barossa Wine Cartel Grenache 2025

This is a straight Grenache made up of five vineyards ranging from 70 years old to 130 years old. Vineyards include Preece, Hermann, WEMs, Schutz and Riebke and are predominantly sandy soils, with some deep clay underlying. As a result, the wine is bright and fresh, but has layers of complexity thanks to the age of the vines. This is a medium weight wine, with the ability to be served slightly chilled. Smells like raspberries and freshly ground spices. It has some brambly forest fruits kind of thing going on, and some lacquered wood high tones, too. - Barossa Wine Cartel
