Bink Crossroads Chardonnay 2023

This comes out of the Southern Barossa; expectations are of course that Barossa chard is huge and rich, but this defies many ideas around that. Cool acidity sits under stone fruits, some Japanese pickled ginger characters, touches of preserved lemon and hazy, green apple juice. Easy drinking style with some nice concentration and depth, and a chalky, dry finish. Attractive allrounder.
