Family owned and operated vineyard and winery in Mildura, established in 1976 by Bruno & Elvira Capogreco. The Capogreco family history for viticulture and winemaking dates back six generations to approximately 1821, in a small village called Rossellina in Calabria, Italy. This is the place where Bruno learned his craft for winemaking from his family.
Grapes are from our Adelaide Plans vineyard. Destemmer crushed, extended infusion period of maceration and wild fermentation on skins, before basket pressing. This unique reserve has matured gracefully in stainless steel and oak barrels. No corrections, fining agents, or Earth filters have been used in the creation of this wine. Natural clarification through racking transitions and pad filtration before bottling in April 2024. - Capogreco Winery Estate
