Family owned and operated vineyard and winery in Mildura, established in 1976 by Bruno & Elvira Capogreco. The Capogreco family history for viticulture and winemaking dates back six generations to approximately 1821, in a small village called Rossellina in Calabria, Italy. This is the place where Bruno learned his craft for winemaking from his family.
Grapes are from our Adelaide plains vineyard. Destemmer crushed, extended infusion period of maceration and wild yeast fermentation on skins, thus adding season and natural complexity. This reserve cellar release was basket pressed then matured gracefully in stainless steel and oak barrels. - Capogreco Winery Estate
