Family owned and operated vineyard and winery in Mildura, established in 1976 by Bruno & Elvira Capogreco. The Capogreco family history for viticulture and winemaking dates back six generations to approximately 1821, in a small village called Rossellina in Calabria, Italy. This is the place where Bruno learned his craft for winemaking from his family.
Grapes are from our Mildura vineyard. Hand picked in late January 2024. Destemmer crushed. Maceration / fermentation on skins. Basket pressed. Matured in stainless steel. Unoaked, allowing the true aroma and flavour of the grape to shine. No corrections, fining agents or earth filters have been used in the creation of this wine. Clarification through racking transitions and pad filtration before bottling in January 2025 with a natural cork closure. Refreshing and crisp, with a golden glow reminiscent of a Sunraysia sunset.
