From very young vines, but a project on the rise in the Hunter Valley. Slurpy, soft, dark cherry meets smoky spice kinda feel with a touch of game meat and dried herbs. Tannins feel dusty, powdery, with a good bit of chomp to it all. The brooding, darker feeling of the wine is lifted on herbal acidity, a frisky finish seals the deal. Has character and charisma.
