Castagna La Chiave Sangiovese 2019

Sangiovese, biodynamically farmed, raised gently but true by Julian and Adam Castagna at their magnificent farm and manor on the hill in Beechworth. Great humans too, full of character.

A moody, rich but refreshing red of dark cherry fruitiness, woody spices, some alpine herb lift and a slosh of blood orange tang in the mix. It's very true to the variety in its personality and offers up fine, mineral-laced tannins for shape. Around medium weight, excellent length and persistence, and overall five star experience.
