The taste of a hike in the Besimauda mountains for real. Childhood friends Enrico and Piero started Argala in 2011 and run it out of an old converted barn in Boves. This liquid delight came, as mentioned above, after a hike in the Besimauda mountains of which their distillery looks onto. Taking time to have a good old nibble on the alpine flowers and gentian along their way they washed it all down with hibiscus tea….. they liked what was happening!! 50% hibiscus sugar infusion (sweet) and 50% gentian, orange, liquorice, wild fennel, rosemary, croton and ginger infusion (bitter).
