Corta y Raspa Palomino de Pasto Parcela La Charanga 2020

 

A tiny plot, a small run of wine, from a collective doing palomino its best from best vines in Sanlucar de Barrameda. Tight and tart, chicken consomme characters, lively but has this curious depth even with the huge saline wash of things here and under it all orange-y and sweet limey. Complex and compelling wine. Feels somewhere between great saline chenin of Loire and savagnin of Jura, but lighter per se, or more saline. Fantastic drinking. - The Wine Front
