COS Cerasuolo di Vittoria Rosso 2021

A blend of 60% Frapatto and 40% Nero d'Avola, the Cerasuolo is grown on a mix of calcareous, red earth soils that is interspersed with clay and sand. Picked slightly later than the other reds from COS, it's vinified in amphora and is the perfect juxtaposition of fruity, spicy and fresh. It's knitted together with light tannin, that lend structure, and a medium weight. It will definitely benefit from decanting.
