This is the youngest Armagnac in the Darroze family’s ‘Assemblage’ series, which features blends that showcase the area’s diversity. As such, it’s a lighter style with less oak influence than usual, letting the fruit-and-nut characters shine through: figs, quinces, orange peel. Notes of spice and tobacco, too, with a clean, almost briny finish. Try it an as apéritif, neat or on the rocks.
