Premier cru site and an elevation of Cossard's work across Burgundy. This is serious stuff, but ethereal, light, bright and fine. Transcendental pinot noir that delivers purity of red cherry, cranberry, garrigue with light porcini mushroom savouriness and a lilt of game meat in the mix. Fine tannins, so so fine actually, exceptional length and a general sense of incredible quality and depth in its lithe frame. Hauntingly beautiful. 2021 // 750ml // ABV 14%
