Domaine de la Grand'Cour Fleurie Lieu-dit Chapelle de Bois 2023

This cuvée comes from vines situated in the “Chapelle des Bois” area (lieu-dit) in the south of the Fleurie appellation. North-west facing, the vines sit at an altitude of between 250 - 300 meters. The sandy topsoil is shallow at the top of the hillside and becomes increasingly deeper towards the bottom, resting on granite bedrock.

The 1.8 hectares are planted with thirty-year old vines, producing 20hl/ha for the 2022 vintage. The grapes were vinified in concrete tanks and the wine was aged in 50% in demi-muids and 50% in stainless-steel tanks for 6 months.
