Stunning Cru Beaujolais from Marcel & Carine Joubert. This family owned winery is on it's fifth generation of winemakers. This cuvee is from 70 year-old vines sandy hillsides over granite subsoils. Hand-harvest, whole-cluster semi-carbonic maceration in cement tanks without addition of yeast or sulphites. Settled in vats followed by 6-8 months aging in old barrels.
