The grapes spend two days on skins, a clever technique to build a little texture into a wine without teetering into orange wine territory. Hence, grip, chalkiness and a pleasing pucker are all part of the charter here. It’s got lemon, lemongrass, gingery notes, some pink grapefruit tang and a lick of green almond going on. A kind of seaside white wine feel overall, a little pleasing saltiness, a coolness and refreshment factor. This is one of the wine’s of the month! Super stuff.
