Fabrice Dodane Le Dos d'Chat Arbois Blanc Bodines 2022

Dodane presents his tiny 7.5 hectares of vineyards, ideally located in the appellation
Arbois, through a range of wines made with such care that each bottle brings out his
unique character. He has mastered these traditional varietals and has continued to expand his repertoire with his négoce label Dos D’Chat, purchasing grapes from fellow winemakers across France to counter the loss from the hail storms and frost of previous years. The Dos D’Chat range is in its fourth year of production and while it’s label is playful, there is no messing around with these incredible wines.

Bodines is 100% chardonnay. On the nose, Gold Parma apple, Galia melon, also some quince, a vegetal touch of cooked fennel and dark spice. On the palate, a fine texture with good natural wine grip, skilful, delicate reduction and Phenolic from oxidative aging, with bold acidity and robust minerality, slightly tart apple peel aroma in the aftertaste.
