Fancy Fanny Sabre. What a wine! Volnay is normally plush and velvety while Sabre's take is almost opposed to common wisdom of this vaunted parish in Burgundy - light in colour, finely structured, sumptuous yet crisp tannins it caresses the palate and lingers with the promise of further delights. Whatever further delights you dream. Or something like that. It's fine, elegant Burgundy of utmost purity - for fanciers of Burgundy or lovers of pure, brilliant wines, this is such a treat.
