This is the first run with nero d'Avola for me. The Aromas leap out of the glass - rather fragrant. Dark raspberries, redcurrant, cola, rose petal, cherries, blueberries with a touch of chocolate lamingtons and earthy notes in the background. Plum skin tannins and dusty cinnamon spice. The wine has a lively pace of fresh acid running right through it with fresher and darker fruit flavours throughout. - Steve Crawford, wine maker
